Summary
The 4th
annual Murder Goes South marked the second time the festival
was held over two days. The Friday night session featured
keynote speaker and featured author Mary Kay Andrews and a
catered meal.
Nine accomplished authors were featured on Saturday: Mary
Kay Andrews, Beverly Connor, Craig Faris, Jaclyn Weldon, Cathy
Pickens, Vonda Skelton, Ellis Vidler, Joyce and Jim Lavene
and Walter Sorrells.
The writers
facilitated discussions framed by two topics topics: Cozy
or Hard-boiled - What's your pleasure when it comes to mystery?
and Truth vs. Fiction. Additional presentations were:
Training of a Private Investigator by Eddie Rogers,
From Journalist to Novelist by John DeDakis, The
Wrong Way to Get Published by Craig Faris and Poisonous
Plants In and Around Your Home by Joyce and Jim Lavene.
The day
ended with a facilitated question and answer session and a
book signing.
